Lead-acid batteries are priced on the weight of the lead they contain. A heavier battery is worth more, which is why a 200Ah inverter battery beats a 35Ah car battery by a wide margin.
Condition does not matter
A battery that stopped holding charge still has the same lead inside. You do not need to test it, charge it, or prove anything before we arrive.
Acid handled properly
Lead-acid batteries contain sulphuric acid and need correct handling. We collect them intact and channel them through authorised facilities rather than tipping them anywhere.
We also buy the UPS unit
If you are replacing an inverter or UPS, we buy the unit as well as the battery. Tell us both on the call and it is one pickup instead of two.
