What we collect
When you use the pickup form or the contact form on this website, or message us on WhatsApp.
- Your name
- Your phone number
- Your email address, if you choose to give one
- The address or area where the material is
- A description of what you want to sell, and any photos you send us
- Anything else you write in the message box
We do not ask for, and do not want, your bank details, card numbers, Aadhaar number, PAN or any government identification. If you send any of those by mistake, tell us and we will delete them.
Why we collect it
- To contact you about your enquiry and arrange a pickup
- To give you a price for your material
- To keep a record of the transaction for our accounts and for tax
- To answer a question you have asked us
We do not sell your information to anyone. We do not use it to send you marketing.
Who else sees it
We use a small number of services to run this website and answer enquiries.
- A third-party form service processes the website forms and emails each submission to us.
- WhatsApp, run by Meta, if you choose to message us there rather than through the site.
- Google provides our business listing and the customer reviews shown on this site.
We do not share your information with anyone else, except where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not lead to a pickup: 12 months from your last contact with us.
- Records of completed transactions: as long as tax and accounting law requires us to keep them.
Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us to:
- Tell you what personal data of yours we hold
- Correct it if it is wrong or out of date
- Erase it
- Stop using it, by withdrawing your consent
To do any of these, call or email us using the details on this page. We will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your request, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
